No two wellness journeys are alike. This is a very exciting, personal exploration into your deepest goals and aspirations for yourself!
After providing me with a detailed health and lifestyle history form, each new client will spend 90 minutes talking about eating history, primary health concerns, daily lifestyle and eating habits. This will serve as the first course of action to begin your work right away. Here we will determine session frequency, so we can set ourselves up for a successful, enlightening journey!
Overexercising, Anxiety, Binge-ing, Portion Control
All these terms may seem like they fall into the category of diet and nutrition, but they play a larger role in overall mind-body wellness. Having a healthy mind and outlook on life is just as important as daily exercise and eating right. Better Than wellness programs start with taking a look at you and your relationship with your mind and body utilizing coaching techniques from the Institute for the Psychology of Eating.
How is My Approach Different?
First off, let me say that I am not a nutritionist. The majority of nutrition experts promote conflicting advice, resulting in confusion around what to eat, and how to have a happy relationship with food and a healthy metabolism. I aim to combine many of the best strategies from both nutrition science and eating psychology. By eliminating all the “shoulds and shouldn’ts”, I focus on what’s right for your body and your personal style. As we work together in this way, eating and health issues become a place of exploration. Instead of seeing such challenges as the enemy, they become opportunities for growth and self-improvement. In my training I’ve learned to help clients reach their highest goals not by strategies that punish, but through strategies that nourish.

How does all THIS work?
I typically meet with clients anywhere from weekly to monthly, either in person or via phone/skype. During your consult, we'll discuss how often we should connect, and arrange other methods of communication that we can utilize throughout your program.
What to expect:
I will not insist that you eat things that you hate or give up things that you love. I will not insist that you work out all the time. I will not have you count calories or grams of anything. I will not judge you for any of your eating patterns or preferences.
I will ask you to talk about food, diet, movement, work, family, sex, love, your spiritual beliefs, your wounds, your dreams and your passions. From all of these conversations together we will design the unique methods and strategies that fit your personality, your body and your lifestyle in order to reach your goals.
When do results happen?
Most clients see changes in their behavior after the first session- this translates into feeling inspired and pretty excited about life right away. Of course, it all depends on you, everyone is different. The people that tend to get the most out of working with me are those that are really ready to engage in their life in a fresh, inspired way! My mission is to have a larger vision for you than perhaps you even have for yourself, and to gently walk you to embodying that vision. I'm not here to tell you what to do and what not to do. I'm here to hold sacred your goals and desires and provide you with the support and accountability to help get you there.

Cancellation Policy: Individual appointments are scheduled for a specific time. You will be charged 100% of the cost for missed individual appointments. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours (business day) in advance, exceptions only in cases of emergency.
